It feels GREAT to declutter! But what are you supposed to do with the stuff that you can’t donate or give away, but *should* be able to recycle? Well, in honor of Earth Day we’re sharing resources so you know where to recycle everything from batteries and lightbulbs, to bras and more, here in evergreen Seattle!
Thanks goes to our eco-minded intern Ashley for putting together a recycling resources guide so you can safely recycle everything from paint to refrigerators!Β π Note – lots of these places take more than the item listed by their link – feel free to explore so you can one-stop-drop your stuff!

For the stuff that you can’t seem to recycle but you know better than to throw in the trash, don’t forget about your local hazardous waste drop off centers – anyone can drive through and drop off!
Since you are stuck at home during COVID-19, why not use this time to clear out your house and get rid of anything you’ve been holding on to! Maybe you can’t take them to the recycling centers immediately, but you can at least clear the clutter and make a plan for when we’re all set free.
We hope these recycling resources are helpful! Meantime, good job doing your part for the environment not driving lol. π€£ Once the decluttering is underway and you’re ready to get started designing, we’re here to help! Schedule a virtual Design Helpline and we can meet over Zoom to talk about anything from furniture refreshes to full remodels!
May your home (and our earth) always be happy!
